Meet the Team

  • Dr. Daniel Rosales

    General Dentist/Owner

    Dr. Daniel Rosales is a highly-skilled and experienced dentist who is passionate about providing exceptional dental care to patients of all ages. Growing up in the vibrant Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, Dr. Rosales developed a deep appreciation for community and a commitment to serving others. He is a graduate of Loyola University and received his DMD at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

    He is experienced in a wide range of dental surgeries, with a particular emphasis on root canals, implants, wisdom teeth removal, and clear aligner treatment.

    Dr. Rosales’ treatment philosophy is centered on treating each patient as he would his own loved ones. He is dedicated to ensuring that each of his patients fully understands their dental health and treatment options and feels respected and heard. At Teeth and Things, Dr. Rosales is committed to delivering quality care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

    In his free time, Dr. Rosales can be found cheering on his favorite Chicago teams. He is happily married to Dr. Magallanes and enjoys spending time with their beautiful daughters, Emma and Lilly.

  • Dr. Jacqueline Magallanes

    General Dentist/Owner

    Dr. Jacqueline Magallanes is a compassionate and talented dentist, born and raised in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood. She is a graduate of Benedictine University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

    Prior to opening Teeth and Things with her husband, Dr. Rosales, Dr. Magallanes worked as an associate in private practice providing general dentistry care, including cosmetic, surgical and pediatric services.

    Dr. Magallanes is passionate about building relationships with her patients and assuring they feel safe and comfortable in her care.

    “So often we are met with patients who say they hate the dentist. My favorite part of my job is turning that perception completely around. I am able to build a meaningful and trustworthy relationship with my patients. My philosophy is built on mutual respect, patient education and autonomy, and excellent dental care.”

    When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Magallanes enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors with her family, reading and traveling.

  • Dr. Yvette Valencia

    General Dentist/Associate

    Dr. Yvette "Evy" Valencia was raised in Berwyn, IL. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She aims to create a comfortable environment for each patient while focusing on communication to ensure complete understanding of treatment. Her focus is on prevention and education. Dr. Valencia believes it is vital for her patients to understand their oral health needs and encourages any dental questions they may have. Through the Illinois State Dental Society, Dr. Valencia teaches and trains dental assistants to receive sealant and coronal polishing certificates.

    Dr. Valencia speaks Spanish fluently. She lives in Riverside with her husband Alex and Daughter Odette. When she is not in the office she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her dog Luna.

  • Dr. Janette Sanchez

    General Dentist/Associate

    Dr. Sanchez was raised in the Back of the Yards and Brighton Park neighborhoods of Chicago. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

    She is committed to providing the highest quality dental care and strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident about their oral health. Dr. Sanchez believes in keeping things approachable, honest, and always focused on what works best for each individual.

    With a special interest in esthetic dentistry, she is passionate about helping patients feel proud of their smiles. Dr. Sanchez is also dedicated to staying up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to ensure her patients receive modern, efficient, and comfortable care.

    In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, traveling, and of course, cheering on the Chicago Bears once football season rolls around—Go Bears!

  • Erika Aceves-Martinez

    OFFICE MANAGER
